Chard Ladies continued their dominant, unbeaten league campaign with an emphatic 11–0 victory over Taunton Vale at Taunton School, played on a beautiful pitch that set the stage for an outstanding performance.

The league champions started brightly and quickly asserted control of the game. Lauren opened the scoring with a composed tap-in at the back post, setting the tone early. Centre forward Kerryn soon added to the tally, showing sharp instincts to pounce on loose balls and convert twice. Summer then extended Chard’s lead after a well-timed pass from Layla, calmly slotting the ball through the goalkeeper’s legs. Layla capped off a superb first half with a stunning goal from an impossibly tight angle, leaving the opposition with no chance. Chard went into the break firmly in control at 5–0.

The second half saw an even more polished performance from Chard, with improved passing and excellent movement of the ball from side to side. Lauren and Min dominated the midfield, dictating the tempo and ensuring Chard maintained complete control.

Chard added six more goals after the break, with Kerryn completing an outstanding individual performance by netting four additional goals. Wingers Katie and Amy also got on the scoresheet, each contributing a well-deserved goal to round off the scoring.

The match finished 11–0, a convincing result that highlights Chard Ladies’ quality and consistency as undefeated league winners.
